Our approach goes beyond simply putting things away or making a space look picture-perfect. We use a thoughtful process that includes decluttering, organizing, creating sustainable systems, and considering how the space functions in everyday life. When needed, we can also incorporate solutions that support mobility, sensory, or cognitive needs so your organization system works for you rather than against you.
Absolutely not—that’s part of the process! We’ll guide you through decluttering and help you determine what should stay, go, relocate, or be reconsidered. Our role is to provide structure with our "Keep It Rules" and support without making decisions for you. And no judgment here—we’ve seen enough closets to know they all have secrets!
Yes! In fact, that’s one of our primary goals. Instead of creating an organization system that only looks good on installation day, we consider your routines, habits, physical abilities, household needs, and the way you naturally use the space. The goal is to create intuitive systems that are easier for you and your household to maintain long after we leave.
Yes. This is an important part of what makes Sensory Style Co. unique. We can develop organizing solutions that consider physical accessibility, sensory preferences, visibility, memory, executive functioning, and ease of use. Recommendations are personalized because what creates independence for one person may create another barrier for someone else.
Not necessarily. We always begin by looking at what you already own to determine what can be reused, repurposed, or relocated before recommending new products. Our philosophy is to organize the mindset first, creating systems that support your habits and everyday routines—not simply filling your space with pretty bins.
When new products are beneficial, they’re selected with purpose. Certain organizing solutions can better support mobility, sensory, or cognitive needs, while also giving your finished space that polished, cohesive look we all secretly hope for after watching HGTV.
Keep in mind that product recommendations involve quite a bit of behind-the-scenes planning by your organizer. Before products ever arrive at your door, we may be measuring spaces, researching appropriate solutions, comparing dimensions, planning placement, sourcing products, and determining quantities. Depending on your service, we may also coordinate ordering, manage returns or exchanges, and create custom labels.
So when you invest in new organizing products, you’re not just purchasing the containers—you’re investing in the thoughtful planning that makes the entire system work for you.
Pricing depends on the size and current condition of the space, amount of decluttering required, project goals, and level of hands-on support needed. Because every household and project is different, we begin by learning more about your needs before providing an estimate.
Keep in mind that your overall investment may include professional organizing services, organizing products or supplies, and any additional third-party services needed to complete the project. We believe in transparency, so these costs will be discussed with you as your project is developed.
While our organizing expertise can certainly help make a move smoother, we do not traditionally offer packing, unpacking, or move-management services as a standalone service. We may provide moving support for established organizing clients when appropriate because we’ve already worked through the foundational organizing and decluttering process together.
Our approach focuses on mindset first. Decluttering—especially before a move—can involve emotional and sometimes difficult decisions, and we don’t believe clients should feel pressured to make those choices simply because moving day is approaching. Similarly, we prefer not to push clients through major decluttering decisions while they’re unpacking and simultaneously trying to adjust to a new home.
If you know a move is in your future, we recommend beginning the organizing and decluttering process at least six months in advance whenever possible. This gives us time to thoughtfully determine what should move with you and create a plan for your new space—because moving is stressful enough without debating the fate of a mystery box from 2009.
