Not at all! Our interior design services are available to everyone. We simply bring additional knowledge and consideration to projects involving physical, cognitive, or sensory needs. You don’t need a diagnosis to deserve a space designed around how you live.

Sensory Style Co. works with apartments, condos, senior independent and assisted living apartments, individual rooms, and other residential spaces. Whether you're designing an entire home or creating a more functional bedroom, we tailor the design to the space, lifestyle, and needs of the people using it.

Every project is different, so pricing is based on the scope, size, complexity, and level of support required. After learning more about your project, we provide a design fee quote outlining the services included.

When budgeting for a full design project, it’s helpful to think about three primary categories of expenses:

Design Fees — The professional services required to plan and develop your design.

Procurement & Product Costs — Furniture, finishes, décor, materials, accessibility products, and any applicable procurement or purchasing management fees.

Contractor & Trade Costs — Labor and installation performed by contractors or other third-party professionals.

Transparency is important to us. We want you to understand where your investment is going so you can make informed decisions throughout the project—because surprise birthday parties are fun; surprise invoices are not.

At this time, Sensory Style Co. does not directly bill or accept insurance for interior design services. However, we understand that creating an accessible, sensory-inclusive environment can be a significant investment. We encourage clients to explore grants, nonprofit assistance programs, community funding, and other financial resources that may help offset eligible expenses.

Expanding access to funding resources is something we hope to pursue as our company continues to grow.

Yes. Collaboration can be especially valuable when a space needs to support specific functional or accessibility needs. Depending on the scope of your project, we can communicate design specifications and recommendations with contractors, builders, caregivers, family members, movers, or other professionals involved in bringing the space together.

Yes! We’re happy to collaborate with contractors and builders who need professional design support for their projects. We’ll start by discussing your Scope of Work, including whether the project involves wet or dry spaces, the number of selections needed, project timeline, and the level of design involvement required.

Fees are customized based on the scope and complexity of the project. Our goal is to make the selection process easier for both you and your client—and when it’s a great fit, we’re always open to developing an ongoing professional partnership for future projects.

Step 1 — Let’s Connect
We’ll begin with a brief 15-minute Discovery Call to learn about your space, timeline, current challenges, and budget. This conversation helps us determine the type of project and level of design support that best fits your needs.

Step 2 — Full-Service Design Meet & Greet
If we determine that Full-Service Design is the right fit, we’ll schedule a more in-depth Virtual Meet & Greet. Full-service design is a journey, and we believe in being transparent about what that journey entails. We’ll walk you through our process, expectations, general timeline, investment structure, and what working together will look like from beginning to end.

Step 3 — Review Your Design Quote
Following the Meet & Greet (or Discovery Call), you’ll receive a personalized design fee quote based on the anticipated scope of work and level of support your project requires.

Step 4 — Agreements & Initial Investment
Once your quote is approved, you’ll receive the appropriate agreements to review and sign. Your initial investment officially secures your project and allows us to begin.

Step 5 — Let’s Get Designing!
With everything in place, we’ll begin Phase One of the design process, turning your goals, needs, and ideas into a thoughtful, functional design created specifically for you.
